Hi All..
As you all are no doubt aware there has been some recent noise on CH and JL.
This is being caused by some muppet transmitting a low power signal on the input frequencies of both repeaters.
It does not seem to be coming from anywhere in the liskeard area and I'm not hearing anything round plymouth.
Zol has traveled from Liskeard to saltash and heard nothing..
I beleive him to be around the north side of Cornwall.
GB3PL has also been mucked about so I dont beleive this to be focused on our Group.
GB3WD has had no similar problems, so my thinking would be he cannot access WD from where he is.
Anyway, he seems to have got fed up now and gone away, but if it does start again please have a listen on the input and if possible get a direction from him..
Keep having fun with the repeaters!
James

Both Repeaters are working fine
Not much to report really,
A few weeks ago GB3JL was repeating the word TONE at the end of its full ident. This was due to a space inserted after the word TONE in the script within the RC-210 logic Programming.
At the same time GB3CH's Cavity filters were all checked and are all as good as the day they were installed originally..
The Battery back up and PSU are all tip top.
The RC-210 Logic took a little fit and a mad turn and decided to give out the Idents on CH 4 times a day instead of 4 times an hour.. I have no Idea why it did this but is back to normal now with slightly changing idents and also JL was given an extra set of pips to keep you all interested.
As to the IRLP... As most of you know I dont really get involved with the link but I have repaired it, tested it and at the last AGM Frank G7LUL has decided to run the link from his QTH in Plymouth.. With some Help from Matt G4RKY it should be on again soon.
Thats really all for now..
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions..
